We Are Domi (formerly known as DOMI) is a Czech-Norwegian electropop trio active since 2018. Its current members are Dominika Hašková, Casper Hatlestad and Benjamin Rekstad.
The band members met at the Leeds Conservatoire in Leeds, England. The singer Dominika Hašková, daughter of hockey goalkeeper Dominik Hašek, became known in the Czech Republic for her participation in the Czech Slovakia’s Got Talent competition in 2010. In 2019, the band released their debut single “Let Me Follow”. The following year they relocated to Prague in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
In early December 2021, We Are Domi appeared among the selected participants of the Czech national round for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, for which they competed with the single “Lights Off”. Czech Television announced the song as the winner on 16 December after the points of the expert jury and Czech and international fans were added up. The band performed in the international semi-finals of the competition in Turin in May.
